Coastal Kids
Our goal in Coastal Kids is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can experience the faithfulness of our gracious Father, understand the loving sacrifice of our savior, Jesus Christ, and develop a Spirit filled, living relationship with God.
Safety is a top priority! All potential volunteers go through an application process, which includes a full background check. Our electronic check-in system uses alphanumeric codes for children’s name tags with matching parent labels and paging system.
Children’s ministry utilizes a number of age-appropriate activities in our services. We want Coastal Kids to be the best hour of their week!
Nursery (birth-1 yr. old): Our nursery is offered during all three services and is staffed by people who truly care for your infants. We provide a caring atmosphere for babies to experience God’s love from the earliest age.
Toddler (2/3 yr. old): Our dedicated toddler workers create a warm and loving environment to teach the children God’s Word. We believe it’s never too early to instill a love for God and His Word.
Preschool (4,5,K): This class utilizes an age appropriate curriculum and the children learn through a variety of activities such as story time, crafts, and songs. Kids are welcomed by loving teachers who have a heart for this lively, adventurous age group!
Elementary (1st-5th grade): We strive to create a fun environment that kids want to be a part of while maintaining an urgency to teach about Christ. This is a high energy group which uses music, review games, memory verses, object lessons, and multimedia presentations to learn thematic lessons from God’s Word.
