Doxology (Romans 11)

The first time we are introduced to God in the Bible we see Him as the ultimate Creator. All that He has created is good and music is no exception. Music is a gift from God created to bring Himself glory as we find our joy and delight in Him. Music, as God intends it to be, is an overflow of a heart captivated and overwhelmed by the person and work of Christ.

Therefore, at Coastal we not only desire to sing truths about God to God, but we want to sing the best songs to God. We define best songs as “Christ exalting, gospel centered congregational music.”

Our prayer is that as you sing these songs you will connect to the Lord with your whole person as Jesus commands us in Matthew 22:37, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” and that in doing so we will naturally fulfill the second command which is to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:39) as we remind each other in melody of the great Savior we have in Christ so that “the God of peace Himself [will] sanctify you completely….” so that “your spirit, soul, and body [will] be kept sound and blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thess. 5:23)

Use these songs to fix your heart, soul and mind on Jesus as you grow as an authentic follower of Christ.
